Diagnose and treatment of communication disorders for school age children. Participate in child study process and individual education plan (IEP) process. Administer hearing or speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to students to collect information on type and degree of impairments, using written or oral tests or special instruments.
Work with parents, special education staff and children. Membership in teachers’ union required.
