Masks Optional Directive

*Update* 3/3/22

As a follow-up to the Superintendent's temporary order, the Board of Trustees for the Anaconda School District voted 6-0 at the Wednesday, March 2nd work session to go to a mask optional directive in our District recommended by Superintendent John Sullivan, County Health, and our School District Nurse.

Good afternoon Copperhead community, staff, and students of the Anaconda School District. Due to the recent recommendations that the CDC put out last Friday, February 25, 2022 and our current low Covid 19 infection rate; as superintendent of our school district, I am issuing a temporary directive that all schools in the Anaconda School District will move to a “masks optional” status beginning Monday, February 28, 2022. The Anaconda School Board will make final decisions in regard to masking, timelines, and Covid 19 policy additions and changes at the Anaconda School Board Work Session scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Thank you and stay healthy.

John Sullivan
